Ray Morgan

Morgan was the spark plug of the 1912 Senators, who won 17 games in a row and climbed from the cellar to second place. His leadoff walk on June 23, 1917, was protested by Red Sox pitcher Babe Ruth, who was ejected from the game. Ernie Shore relieved Ruth, picked off Morgan, and retired the next 26 batters to pitch a perfect game.
