The versatile son of Harry Caray became a Braves broadcaster in 1976 and has announced football, basketball, and hockey as well. Skip made his ML broadcasting debut on May 30, 1965, calling a Braves-Astros game for Atlanta TV station WSB as an emergency substitute for Mel Allen, who was attending his mother’s funeral.
