John Cerutti

Cerutti was shuttled back and forth between the Blue Jays bullpen and starting rotation in his first several seasons. While he never showed overpowering stuff, he was effective when he overcame a tendency to allow home runs. On July 2, 1986, the southpaw threw a record four wild pitches against Boston. In 1989 he helped Toronto to an AL East title by winning 11 games in 31 starts while posting a 3.07 ERA. His ERA ballooned to 4.76 the following year, however, and he ended his career after one season with the Tigers.
