Pat Clements

Because lefthanded relievers with control are a valued commodity, Clements was one of the players the Pirates asked for when they sent John Candelaria and George Hendrick to the Angels in 1985. Clements, a rookie, was 5-0 when traded. He went 0-6 in 92 appearances for Pittsburgh before he was sent to the Yankees with Rick Rhoden after the 1986 season.
