Billy Conigliaro

Tony’s brother and Boston’s top 1967 draft choice hit 18 homers in 1970. A year later, he accused Carl Yastrzemski of running the Red Sox, and claimed that cliques kept him from being a regular. Traded to Milwaukee that October, Conigliaro retired after 52 games with the Brewers, but resurfaced with the 1973 World Champion Oakland A’s.
