Author or co-author of 25 books and movie scripts, war correspondent, and syndicated columnist (“On the Line”), Considine wrote for the Hearst newspapers in Washington and New York, beginning in 1933. He was sports editor of the Washington Herald before writing for King Features. Among his books was a biography of Babe Ruth.
