Wildness and lack of support plagued Narum in his two seasons as a regular starter for the Senators (1964-65). Although his .059 batting average is one of the ten worst ever for a batter with over 100 at-bats, he hit a home run the first time he came to the plate in the ML and three of his seven ML hits were home runs.
