Roy Howell

Drafted from the Rangers in 1977, the red-haired Howell became a local star for the brand-new expansion Toronto Blue Jays. In September 1977, he had a team-record nine RBI as Toronto thrashed the Yankees 19-3 at Yankee Stadium. He held team career records in hits, total bases, RBI and strikeouts when he left as a free agent to sign with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1981.
