Paul Householder

A switch-hitter with power in the minors who was said to have had all the tools, Householder was continually expected to blossom, but never did. With the Reds in 1983, his .991 fielding percentage led all NL outfielders. When Milwaukee’s Robin Yount had surgery in September 1985, Householder, given a last chance to play every day, hit eight homers for the month.
