Ival Goodman

En route to the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame, Goodman led the NL in triples his first two seasons, set a since-broken Reds season homer mark (30 in 1938), and played in two All-Star Games and World Series. In the 1939 Series opener, right fielder Goodman and centerfielder Harry Craft let Charlie Keller‘s fly ball drop between them for a triple; Keller soon scored the Yankees’ winning run.
