Oscar Grimes

After parts of five seasons as a Cleveland utility infielder, Grimes was handed the third base job for the Yankees in 1944. He made three errors in one game in 1944 and led AL third basemen with 31 errors in 1945. His father, Ray Grimes, was a NL first baseman in the 1920s.
