Foreman won 23 games for Baltimore in 1889 and 97 over his 11-year ML career, throwing mostly fastballs. His main claim to fame was that he discovered future Hall of Fame lefthander Eddie Plank pitching at Gettysburg College. Foreman’s brother, Brownie Foreman, pitched briefly in the ML.
