Kitty Bransfield

The slick-fielding Bransfield joined the Pirates in 1901 and was the regular first baseman on three straight pennant winners. Although he twice edged his BA over .300 (1902 and ’08), his first season was the best overall performance of his career (.295, 92 runs, 91 RBI, 17 triples). He led NL first basemen in fielding in 1909 while with the Phillies.
