Tom Daly

Daly was the lone catcher on the Chicago club that made the world tour of 1888-89. Although he was considered a good receiver, his arm was suspect, and Chicago dealt him to Washington. He moved to the infield with Brooklyn and played mostly second base after 1892. He went on to manage in the high minor leagues and scout for the Indians and Yankees.
