Benny Zientara

Zientara had a “cup of coffee” with the Reds and then spent four years in the military. He hit .289 as a backup in 1946 and won the second-base job in 1947, reaching career highs of 60 runs and 24 RBI while batting .258 (418 at-bats). His career ended after he dropped to .187 in 1948.
