Roxy Walters

Walters hit below .200 four times and spent most of his career as a strong-armed backup catcher. In the only season he caught more than 65 games, he led AL catchers in total chances per game on the strength of his 94 assists in just 85 games. As a pitcher/outfielder he topped the 1928 Utah-Idaho League with a 15-3 record and fell three points short of the batting title, hitting .382.
