Jay Tibbs

An erratic starter who won a career-high ten games for the Reds in 1985, Tibbs has been traded three times since being drafted by the Mets in 1980. He began the 1987 season as the Expos’ number-two starter, but was demoted to Indianapolis (American Association). In 1988 he was 4-15, 5.39 for the last-place Orioles. When they jumped to second place in 1989, he contributed a 5-0, 2.82 record.
