Erroneously called the “Millionaire Indian” because he owned 500 oil-less acres in Oklahoma, Tincup, a full-blooded Cherokee, numbered three shutouts among his seven 1914 Phillie wins, taking two by 1-0. He never won another ML game. In 1928, after ten years in the minors, he made two appearances with the Cubs.
