Rick Schu

Schu appeared to be the successor to Mike Schmidt at third base for the Phillies when he hit .301 with 14 triples at Triple-A Portland in 1984, and Schmidt was moved to first base to make room in the lineup in 1985. The experiment was abandoned when Schu drove in only 24 runs in 416 at-bats, and his career became that of a journeyman.
