Dave Sisler

The youngest son of Hall of Famer George Sisler and brother of major leaguer Dick Sisler, Dave was a 6’4″, bespectacled Princeton graduate. Upon returning from the military in 1956, he started and relieved for Boston, but worked exclusively out of the bullpen after his 1959 trade to Detroit. In 1960 he recorded a career-best 2.48 ERA with seven wins and six saves.
