Wade Blasingame

The Braves gave Blasingame $100,000 to sign, and manager Bobby Bragan said the southpaw had the NL’s best curveball when he went 9-5 in 1964. He was 16-10 at age 21 in 1965, but after a fractured finger and sore arm in 1966, he never had another winning season.
