Jackie Brown

Curveball specialist Jackie Brown and his older brother Paul both signed with the Phillies after starring together in high school. Paul jumped to the majors as a phenom at 20 but was finished at 27, having gone 0-8 in four seasons. Jackie was 27 when he got his first shot at the majors in 1970. His best year was 1974, when he went 13-12 with a 3.57 ERA for the Rangers.
