As an 18-year-old first baseman/outfielder with the Phillies, Lush was the youngest regular ML player of the 20th century. He became a full-time pitcher for Philadelphia in 1906, when he had a career-high 18 wins and a no-hitter against the Dodgers, but he had only one more winning season.
