Elliott Maddox

Maddox relocated frequently after reaching the ML as a pesky utility player for the Tigers in 1970, but started regularly only once in 11 ML seasons, hitting .303 as the Yankees centerfielder in 1974. He was traded to the Senators with Denny McLain after the 1970 season, moved with the club to Texas in 1972, was sold to the Yankees before 1974, traded again to the Orioles after 1976, and finally signed as a free agent with the Mets before the 1978 season.
