Bobby Prescott

Prescott left the black outlaw leagues in 1952 to post career minor league numbers of 2,268 games, 398 homers, 1,531 RBI, and a .293 average. He played third base and hit 24 HR for the 1952 Phoenix Giants, outslugging teammates Willie McCovey, Leon Wagner, Felipe Alou, and Willie Kirkland – all of whom were promptly promoted. Prescott, believed older than his listed age, was passed over. He moved on to the Mexican League in 1963, hit 193 HR in six seasons, and won HR titles in 1965-66 and RBI titles in 1966 and 1968.
