Carlos Lopez

Lopez played five years in his home country Mexican leagues before being purchased by the Angels’ organization after the 1973 season. The Mariners selected him in the expansion draft, and he had his best season in 1977, batting .283 with 16 steals, eight HR, and 34 RBI in 297 at-bats (all career highs). He slumped to .238 with the Orioles in 1978, his last year in the majors.
