The younger brother of utilityman Felipe Crespo, Cesar broke in with the Padres in May 2001. On June 7, facing Felipe’s Giants, Cesar hit his first major-league homer off Ryan Vogelsong. Felipe also socked two round-trippers, making the two just the ninth pair of brothers ever to homer against each other in the same game.
