The first compiler of authentic and accurate records of baseball action each year, White started the Little Red Book, which was designed by his employer, A.G. Spalding & Bros., and issued through the American Sports Publishing Company. When Spalding discontinued its publication in 1932, White returned and continued to publish Charles White’s Little Red Book.
