Spitballer Klepfer went to Cleveland in the 1915 deal that sent Joe Jackson to Chicago and was 14-4, 2.37 with the 1917 Indians. He spent 1918 in the military and apparently lost his stuff afterward. His career .048 batting average is the second-worst ever for a pitcher with at least 100 at-bats.
