Goody Rosen

As the Dodgers’ right fielder in 1938, Rosen led NL outfielders in fielding and assists. The lefthanded Canadian batted .325 (third in the league) and scored 126 runs (second) in 1945 in a .300-hitting outfield with Luis Olmo and Dixie Walker. Sold to the Giants, in mid-1946 he crashed into a fence and sustained a career-ending clavicle injury. He was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
