Hank Lieber

Leiber was a 6’1-1/2″ 205-lb, righthanded outfielder who was a starter with the Giants in 1935, ’36, and ’38 and the Cubs in 1939-1940. He hit over .300 three times (.331 in 1935, .310 in ’39 and .302 in ’40). His best year was 1935 when he had 203 hits, 22 home runs, 110 runs scored, 107 RBI, and a career-high .331 batting average. In 1942 he had a complete-game loss as a pitcher.
