Jeff Parrett

After several excellent seasons in the Expos bullpen-by-committee (12-4 in 1988), Parrett was traded to the Phillies in December 1988. By the middle of 1989, he was sharing the role of bullpen stopper with Roger McDowell after ace Steve Bedrosian was traded. After a bad first half, Parrett was traded on August 3, 1990 to Atlanta as the main component of a deal for two-time MVP Dale Murphy. Later released by the Braves, he bounced around with three other clubs before going back to Philly in August 1996 for his final 18 appearances in the majors.
