John Buzhardt

The quiet South Carolinian broke in impressively, compiling a 3-0 record (1.85) in six games with the 1958 Cubs. The right-hander hurled a one-hitter against the Phillies in 1959; after the season ended, the Phillies traded Richie Ashburn for Buzhardt, Alvin Dark, and Jim Woods. Buzhardt went 11-34 in two years with Philadelphia but enjoyed a career-best 13-8 season with the 1965 Chisox.
