Larry Kopf

Kopf never hit .300 at any professional level, but on May 2, 1917 his 10th-inning single off Hippo Vaughn broke up the double no-hit duel between Vaughn and Fred Toney. Kopf came around to score the game’s only run on Jim Thorpe‘s scratch single. Brother Wally Kopf played two games at third for the Giants.
