Marlin Stuart

The screwballer was 30 years old before he pitched in the majors, and he bounced up and down for several seasons, throwing a perfect game for Toledo of the American Association in 1951. In 1953 he led the Browns’ staff in wins with an 8-2 record, which until the 1987 Cleveland Indians, was the lowest win leadership mark for a pitching staff.
