Mike Ferraro

Although he was voted the top Yankee farmhand in 1966, Ferraro did not gain a regular ML job until the Brewers handed him third base in 1972. He hit .255 with only two homers and the next year turned to coaching. As the Indians’ manager in 1983, he left after 100 games with the team in seventh place. He was interim manager of the Royals in 1986.
