Pat Perry

Released by the Astro and Indian organizations due to arm problems, Perry was given a change by the Cardinals. He tallied a 1.85 ERA over two-plus minor league seasons and became a capable short reliever at St. Louis. Despite his consistent work he was traded to Cincinnati for Scott Terry, and then to the Cubs for backup first baseman Leon Durham. Perry became a free agent in November 1990 after refusing assignment to the minors, but no clubs showed any interest.
