Rich Yett

First signed by the Minnesota Twins in 1980, Yett was sent to the Cleveland Indians in a 1985 trade for Bert Blyleven. On September 22, 1986, two weeks after learning a forkball, he used it to shut out the first-place Angels on four hits. That shutout was one of just three starts that seasons for Yett.

Despite his improved stuff, Yett was unable to fashion a successful career. His ERA was never lower than 4.62 in any full season, and he was regularly shuffled between the bullpen and rotation by the Indians.
