Roy Weatherly

In his 1936 major league debut with Cleveland, Weatherly, a 5’6″ 170-lb lefthanded hitter, had a pair of triples and a single. A platooned outfielder for much of his time with the Indians, he was traded to the Yankees in December 1942 but spent all of 1944 and 1945 in the military. He had a reputation among umpires as a complainer.
