Tom House

The bespectacled reliever led Atlanta with 11 saves in both 1974 and ’75. An extra in several movies and TV shows, House had his biggest moment in the spotlight on April 8, 1974, when he caught Hank Aaron‘s 715th home run in Atlanta’s bullpen. He became the Rangers’ pitching coach in 1985 and gained notoriety for having his pitchers throw footballs as a training routine.
