Kelley was given a chance with Cleveland after going 16-3 for Portland (Pacific Coast League) in 1965, including a no-hitter against Spokane on May 29. Back in the minors by 1967, he had shoulder surgery but returned with the Braves in 1971 to post a 9-5 (2.96) mark.
