Walt Cruise

A journeyman major leaguer for parts of ten seasons, Cruise hit .346 in 108 games in 1921 and was the right fielder for the Braves in the 26-inning 1-1 tie played against Brooklyn on May 1, 1920. He scored the Boston run when his triple, his only hit in nine at-bats, was followed by Tony Boeckel‘s single. Cruise was married at home plate in Cincinnati between games of a doubleheader. He did not play in the nightcap.
