Whitey Alperman

Alperman was the Dodgers’ starting second baseman in 1906, ’07, and ’09. He hit a career-high .252 in 1906 and tied for the NL lead in triples in 1907 with 16. He also led NL second basemen with 6.2 chances per game in 1907 and 42 errors in 1909.
