The last player to steal home in a World Series game was St. Louis Cardinals‘ catcher Tim McCarver. He did it on October 15, 1964, in Game Seven against the New York Yankees. After reaching on a fielder’s choice against Mel Stottlemyre in the bottom of the fourth inning, McCarver advanced to third on a Mike Shannon single. He then stole home as part of a double steal.
