Vin Campbell

The Braves traded a worn Mike Donlin to get Campbell’s bat into their lineup in 1912; Campbell led NL hitters in at-bats, and outfielders in errors. In 1914 he signed a three-year Federal League contract and had two .300-plus campaigns. When the Feds folded in 1916, he sued and won payment for the final year, but couldn’t find work elsewhere.
