Although his 1960 manager, Eddie Sawyer, labeled him “the worst player I ever saw,” Lepcio was a competent utility man with occasional power (15 home runs in 1956) for ten ML seasons. A bonus baby out of Seton Hall College, he reportedly signed for $60,000.
