Bill Dailey

Despite excellent minor league seasons and effective pitching in two brief trials with Cleveland, Dailey wasn’t handed the stopper’s role until 1963 with the Twins. In 66 games, he had six wins and 21 saves, with a 1.99 ERA. The next season he couldn’t lift his arm without pain and his career was over.
