An off-season accountant, Hunnefield often reported late to spring training because it coincided with tax season. An infielder with an erratic arm, he twice played on the winning side in no-hitters (Ted Lyons, 1926, and Wes Ferrell, 1931) and made a total of four errors in the two games.
