A graduate of Albright College with a Ph.D. from Syracuse, Voight has been a sociology and anthropology professor at Albright since 1964 and is a past president of SABR. His books include American Baseball from Gentlemen’s Sport to Commissioner System (1966), American Baseball from Commissioner to Continental Expansion (1970), A Little League Journal (1974), and America Through Baseball (1976).
