Frank Brower

Signed as a pitcher by the Cardinals, Brower became an everyday player in the minors. He was called “The Babe Ruth of the Bushes” in 1920 when he hit .394 with 23 homers for Reading of the International League. The Senators purchased his contract but he produced no Ruthian ML stats. In 1923, his top year, he hit 16 homers for Cleveland.
